We want your input to develop bold and creative strategies to build a healthy local food system for all! Join us at our monthly meetings!
The OFPC is a 21-member volunteer council organized into Work Groups. We have “primary” work groups that are organized around policy areas, and “supporting” work groups that make the work of the primary groups possible.
OFPC meets on the 3rd Thursdays from January to October. Meetings are workgroup meetings. However, once each quarter, we hold an engaging, interactive session on how YOU can be part of the solution for a more vibrant local food economy. We offer a delicious dinner, invite others active in the local food movement, and find creative ways to highlight common policy barriers we face in Oakland. Workgroup meetings are 4:30PM-7:30PM; Quarterly Council meetings are 5:00PM-7:00PM.
All OFPC meetings take place at the offices of the Alameda County Public Health Department at 1000 Broadway, 5th Floor, Room B.
All meetings of the OFPC are open to the public. Please join us!
