OFPC is currently seeking new members! If you are interested in food justice and transforming Oakland’s food system into one that is equitable and sustainable, we need you.
We are seeking members who have a strong background in community organizing and are ready to apply bold, innovative strategies for rethinking Oakland’s food system. Seats open include General Member (3-year term); Community Representative (1 year term); Youth Member (1 year term; ages 18-24 yrs).
OFPC was founded in 2009 to establish an equitable and sustainable food system. We are a council of 21 voluntary members.
