OFPC is accepting applications for new members to join our 21-seat volunteer council. Oakland based individuals with a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
OFPC works to establish an equitable and sustainable food system by challenging the existing wealth and power paradigms that have led to an unjust food system. We identity practical policy solutions by examining the intersection of food and social justice in our communities including, race, poverty and the environment. With over six successful years of advocacy and organizing experience, we look forward to many exciting initiatives in the year ahead, and we welcome your new energy in this crucial work.
